Buying was easy with Heartland Ford. I test drove at least 3 vehicles the same day, went to other dealers but came back to Heartland because they were easy to talk to and deal with. Five Stars to Heartland, it's worth the 40 minute trip from greater Lafayette. Easiest car purchase in 40 years !!!! I decided to go back to Ford, they Heartland sold me a Mach-e. Ethan took the time to introduce and set up key features in the vehicle, he cares and is a asset to the Ford Motor Company, if all Ford salespeople had his knowledge Ford would would sell 25% more vehicles! Easy transaction and negotiation on my trade. I cross-shopped the Lafayette dealership which barked at me when I told them the trade number was nowhere close, they told me my car needed its bumper repainted, I wiped the bird doo off and told them I was smarter than that. Indy dealers, more of the same, I told one dealer I was coming to look at a car. I arrive on schedule and the battery wasn't charged and I had given them 3 hours notice. Silly low trade number there to, sales-guy did not know the product either. "I think, it may... hum... I don't know.... Anyway it's refreshing that a dealership like Heartland still exists, they don't tell you what to do with your money unless you ask for options. I don't like sales people that are in a rush to get you financed in more car than you want and bamboozle the un-educated that the car they are trading is junk.
